Hello and welcome to my shop "UfinaCrafts".

I have been a Seamstress for 22 years now.   I make Soft Furnishing, Garments (sew gowns for my Daughter who is a well-known Classical/Opera Singer) and Accessories for friends and family. Sewing has been a big part of my life as my Mother is a skilled and talented Seamstress and sewing was part of her work. My mother worked from home so I grew up surrounded by fabric and the noise of a sewing machine.

I have a City & Guilds in Soft Furnishing and taken several Clothesmaking Courses over the years. I also volunteer as an Assistant at my local Adult Education Centre in Clothesmaking,  one morning a week and feel it is now time to share my love of sewing with others.

I take great care and pride in my work and when I sew, it feels good to know that it was made from scratch by my own hands.   I find sewing very relaxing with great rewards.  I just love popping into fabric stores and selecting materials and get a great sense of achievement when I sew, and someone is wearing what I made and it makes them happy and makes me happy too.
